2016 Summer Reading Program: Teens

Get in the game...READ!

Teens are invited to "Get in the Game, READ!" Youth may register themselves for the reading portion of the program but will need a parent or guardian to sign them up for events, which include a lip sync battle, a marshmallow blow gun build, and a fitness "boot camp," among other activities. Activities are limited to 30 participants, so be sure to register early. The teen program concludes with a "Big End Bash" waterslide party and a grand prize drawing. "This is a wonderful way for teens to be encouraged to read while also meeting new people and having fun," Programmer Martha Uchino said.
